Back in California

I finally made my way back to Los Angeles... with my puppy and babe of course! Our new apartment is the cutestttttttttt thing ever! We haven't officially moved in yet, but we'll be in there by the 1st. So in the mean time i'm still in Downtown LA. The new place is in Studio City tho, which isn't too far. It's actually about 20 minutes away driving or 15 hopping on the metro (haha train). you wanna know the coolest part??! SURE YOU DO... Universal Studios/City Walk is like 3 blocks away from us! I LOVE IT!

Well, I spent my last days in New York stressing and going over a million and one things. Babe and I had a huge moving sale because we decided not to take anything with us to LA. We needed the extra money and figured we'd start over. My mom came over to help and it actually turned out to be quite a success. I put up flyer's and all! Soooo between that and ACTUALLY getting things packed up for storage, we were all pretty exhausted. We didn't get a chance to pack until about 3:30 and our flight was at 6:35am.

Our closest friends and family came over at the last minute. It wasn't planned or anything and it wasn't like we could really entertain them as we usually do. The house was a mess with documents, pictures, and miscellaneous items thrown everywhere and we still had so much to do. It showed how much our loved ones really cared though. They didn't mind the clutter and constant movement of "where's this" and "did you remember to pack that". It was Thursday night and I'm pretty positive that every single person that came through had to wake up to go to school, work, or both and no one left until around 4am. THANKS GUYS. We had a ball! drinks of course! I mean, we had to finish the alcohol before we left haha (that's totally my excuse). Any who! like I said, we had drinks, loud music, dancing, and weird shit like [[two girls, one cup]] - yeah... don't ask. But all in all I appreciate my family and friends dearly and I cant wait until they all come out here to visit. I love you Mom

A BIG thanks to mom because although I moved to Cali in October and she came with me, it was for school. This time around, three months later, it has become a reality that yes I have in fact relocated to another state. 3,000 miles away in another time zone, I have decided to move my life (my puppy and babe)into a different direction NOT totally for school; but for me.. for my life... for my American Dreaming.

I'm sick

Sooo it's been a hectic week! I'm trying my hardest to get things packed up and situated, not to mention the fact that I AM POOR. Watev, things will work out. Everything happens for a reason and I'm content with the fact that life will work its way out on its own. I found out some extremely disturbing news Wednesday night while at my moms house. As we both broke down a cried aloud, I couldn't help but wonder why is it that when one problem arises, a whole bunch of them follow? With this bad and disturbing news I began to wonder if I should return to California so soon.. it seems as though there are people here that need my support and I want to give them my all. I'm tired of not having the money, the answer, or the time. Maybe I yearn for too much in my American dreams??

So last week I ached from an unbearable soar throat. On top of me not getting any sleep for the past two days, I woke up today feeling nauseated and just plain sick! I felt as though I had to puke but I truly didn't have to.. I don't know, it was weird, awkward, and I surely didn't need it. I couldn't leave my house so when I got enough strength to get in the shower I found myself feeling weak again. I curled up in my new robe on the couch and tried to get as much air as possible. I was scared to bits to eat anything, fearing the "puke" afterwards. When babe returned home I asked him to make me some tostones with a light coating of salt. I devoured them all! but only because I hadn't eaten since the night before and it was now 3:00pm! any who! I urged to go outside thinking the fresh air would be of great help but it started pouring raining! ugh I hate the rain.. seriously, it makes me feel icky. So I just came from outside and I can feel that I'm getting better. I was hoping that I didn't have that virus that's been going around. please pray for my recovery! BEING SICK SUCKS!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR FELLOW BLOGGERS ITS 2008!

I celebrated with babe of course! We went to see my mom and little brothers at around 12:30ish and she was cooking a full meal! She fed us and took tons of pictures then it was off to the REAL CELEBRATION. We hit up the Mustang Bar and Grill for their amazing Open Bar (we went last year for new years and had a blast). Afterwards we met up with some friends and partied the night away at a great upscale lounge on the upper west side. It was hugs, kisses, and drinking! What a way to bring in the NEW YEAR! I wish you all the best in your future '08 dreams.


Once again, I'm sorry I haven't had my usual time to check in and explain my day to day activities. New York seems so lively and I really don't want to leave so soon. But its back to Cali, the REAL world.. where mom's no longer cooking me dinner, I cant sleep late, or see my family at the drop of a $6 or $7 cab ride. BY THE WAY, I totally appreciate all NY has to offer with the low prices and super steals!


Any who! I wont be returning back to LA alone. I'm finally taking my puppy which I'm in the process of handling now. Ugh so much work and money! ANDDDDDD.... babe is returning with me! woohoooo yes! lol haha I'm pretty excited cuz he totally loved LA when he came to visit for the thanksgiving holiday. It's sooo US. But Umm, it'll be good. It's a new year and new expectations shall be held. We're only getting older, live life now.
