I finally finished up my project! The fact that I was an hour and a half late to class doesn't mean a thing ::haha:: Next week I'll have to make an oral presentation, which I am totally not looking forward to!
OMG so, fantastic news! I just got home from school and I'm in my room peeling a tangerine chatting away with babe when... Mom calls on the other line. So I bid babe a good night, after all it IS a 3 hour time difference (12am in NY). After that mom informs me that while I was at school doing tonssss of stressing, she booked me a flight! oh how I adore my mom sooooo much. No need for worries any longer, I'll be home next Friday. I soo cant wait to just be around the family, that's what Christmas is all about ::love u mom::
Oh yeah, so before that happened, I was waiting for my school shuttle - because I'm way too lazy to walk the three blocks home ::haha:: No wait, dont judge me just yet, FIDM provides a free shuttle for late classes that will take you within like 3 miles or something, and I live downtown! its dark, cold, and hobos are everywhere! by the way, I love how I now say "hobo" instead of homeless people.. lol that's what everyone in LA refer to them as. Any who! back to my wait for the shuttle.. So I've been craving fruit a lot lately sooo.. I head over to Ralph's (supermarket) since its on the next block and rack up on tangerines, pears, mango's, and grapes! yummmmm As I was walking back, the shuttle arrived and now I'm home. I feel super energetic and excitement is pouring out of me because I'm so hyped about my flight home! I spoke to mom for about an hour and a half, you know, the usual and now I'm on the roof typing away.
I guess things are falling into place, and they don't seem so bad after all. Now I just have to start on that History of Costume take home quiz that's due tomorrow at 3. I'll TRY MY HARDEST to get started on that now.
